Airports-Practicum

This textbook is a new, extended update of the 2010 edition of the "Airports-Practicum" (originally published in 1980). The content was updated according to changes in the two courses covered, "Airports 1" and "Airports 2." The updates reflect the changes in the international airport planning and design guidelines, primarily published by International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). Additional examples are derived from the author's experience in teaching, research, and consulting projects.
Note: In the examples used in this Practicum, authors cite the standards and recommendations published by ICAO, as they are universally applicable worldwide. The certification specifications recommended by EASA are applied both in the European Union and Serbia, but to this date, they fully match the corresponding ICAO guidelines.
